Stijn Temmerman, founder of Heidebier.be, grew up in the rolling Pajottenland, and is married to a brewer's daughter from the Waasland. He started in 2006 with a Kester Kermisbier. Kester, the village of youth, wants to keep its legend alive: “The Tongsneyders of Kester Heyde”. The Heide, mysterious and located atop the witness hill, harbors one of the cruelest legends that our Belgian land is rich in.
