Jan De Lichte – Imperial witbier with character 🌾

Jan De Lichte is a unique imperial witbier of 7% ABV, brewed since 2005 by Brouwerij De Glazen Toren in Erpe‑Mere. The name is a nod to the legendary 18th-century Flemish forest bandit, giving the beer that touch of mystery and bravado.

The beer presents itself in a lightly veiled straw blonde color with a creamy foam head. At the first sip, you are refreshed with aromas of grapefruit and coriander, while the combination of curacao peel and wheat delivers a spicy, intense, and nicely dry mouthfeel.
