Kerel Rye High is an intense Rye Wine / quadrupel from VBDCK Brewery, with a strong alcohol content of 9.5% ABV.  This winter beer owes its character to a combination of rouge barley malt, rich rye malts and candi sugar, which together create a warm, full-bodied and layered flavor profile. 

When poured, the dark brown color immediately stands out, almost towards cola tones, with an inviting lightly sweet aroma.  On the palate, notes of caramel, raisins, sugar bread and sweet alcohol warmth emerge, alternating with a subtle spiciness and soft bitterness.  The finish is dry, refined and invites another sip.
