Collection: De Glazen Toren
Brewery De Glazen Toren – Belgian craftsmanship with international fame 🌍🍻
De Glazen Toren, founded in 2002 by brewers Jef Van den Steen and Dirk De Pauw, has been located in Erpe-Mere (East Flanders) since 2004 and brews authentic, unfiltered beers with character and pure ingredients.
Their best-known beer is Saison d’Erpe‑Mere (6.5% ABV), a flavorful farmhouse ale with fresh citrus and herbal aromas, fine bitterness and strong fizz – beloved since the Zythos Beer Festival in 2005, after which it was launched internationally (including the US, Italy, Japan) .
With a wide range – including Ondineke (tripel), Jan De Lichte (imperial witbier), Canaster (Scotch ale) and Cuvée Angélique (Belgian strong ale) – De Glazen Toren combines traditional Belgian styles with modern finesse and the highest quality .
Thanks to strategic expansion – from 500 L installations in 2004, a 25 Hl German installation in 2007, to the new 40 Hl location in Aalst in 2019 – De Glazen Toren guarantees artisanal taste on a larger scale without compromising on quality .
Their beers are internationally available, with exports to more than ten countries via refrigerated transport to preserve freshness and flavor integrity .
