“Valeir Blond, one of Belgium's hidden gems,” says beer expert Michael Jackson. This Valeir refers to the soldier who fought in the Battle of Gavere in 1453, where the Ghent troops were defeated by Philip the Good. In honor of this brave warrior, Valeir received a statue in Gavere, which can also be seen on the label of the Valeir beers.

Valeir Blond is a top-fermented beer with an alcohol content of 6.5%. This blonde beer combines a soft bitterness with fresh fruity notes, a full body and delicate floral aromas.

This beer is brewed in Brouwerij Contreras' own facilities.
