Blonde beer with an alcohol content of 5.5% Alc. Full.
Ingredients: brewing water, malt, wheat, hops, yeast.

The 'saw man' was a metal man with a long saw that could be set in motion on the side of a table or bar.

This made it look as if the man was sawing through the table.

This was done when a regular saw too much and they wanted to subtly make this clear to him.

The 'saw man' was also used to indicate that it was time to go home because the café was closing and people could still drink as long as the saw man was moving. When he stopped, the regulars were not allowed to see and had to go home.

Zageman beer was bottled for the first time to celebrate the launch of the photo book 'Authentic Belgian Cafés' by Regula Ysewijn.
