The story of Cannahopper begins in Roeselare, where a passionate team launched one of Belgium’s most unusual beers in 2019 — an IPA with real cannabis as an ingredient. Brewery De Meester took over this quirky concept and gave it a new chapter: the same bold DNA, now brewed with Strata hops and Grapefruit Kush & King Louis XIII aromas that nod to the legendary cannabis strains that inspired the beer’s name.

The result is a hazy IPA with a cloudy golden color that immediately sparks curiosity. On the nose: grapefruit, citrus, and a subtle pine resin note. On the palate, a fresh, pleasant bitterness with a lightly spicy, peppery finish. Accessible enough for the average IPA lover, original enough to be memorable.
