Haeseveld Strong Belgian Blond

Haeseveld Strong Blond was the very first bottled beer from Brouwerij Haeseveld — and it made an immediate impact. Yellow-gold in color, slightly hazy, with a fine white clinging foam head that sets the tone right away. This is no ordinary strong blond. It is an artisanal top-fermented beer, unfiltered and bottle-conditioned — in the traditional Belgian way, but with its own signature. 

The aroma is fruity and lightly floral, with notes of banana and pear and a soft malt sweetness. The taste is full-bodied with fruity touches, a pleasant alcohol-sweet character, and a very accessible bitterness. The finish is lightly sweet with a soft bitter undertone — clear, balanced, and surprisingly elegant for a strong blond. 

That quality did not go unnoticed: at the European Beer Challenge 2025, Haeseveld Strong Blond won double gold. A fine confirmation of what beer lovers have long known — this beer from the Ghent region deserves a permanent place in your beer cabinet.
