Optimo is the second beer from the triptychDeo, Optimo,Maximo. Optimo is a stout of 8%

Together their initial letters also form the abbreviation of the brewery, viz. D.O.M. or D'Oude Maalderij. Deo, Optimo, Maximo also stands for "for the most powerful god". This triptych was designed and brewed as an exposition of black beer styles.

Their labels were designed by three artists who, with the data given (as a cathedral) and alchemy (old brewery), each had their own style spoken in their creation.

This beer is brewed in the own installations of D'Oude Maalderij.
