In the charming Hainaut village of Silly, the same family has been brewing authentic Belgian beer for more than 170 years  . What once started on a farm under the name Cense de la Tour grew in 1850 into the renowned Brasserie de Silly – a brewery that effortlessly combines tradition and innovation  .

• Historical heritage: original seasonal beers for farmers, followed by classics such as Saison Silly, Scotch Silly and the Dubbele Enghien, after the 1975 takeover of the Tennstedt-Decroes brewery in Enghien  .

• Wide and innovative range: from refreshing wheat beers such as Blanche de Silly and the award‑winning Pink Killer (gold at the Asia Beer Challenge 2020) to abbey styles and IPAs like Green Killer  .

• Family business: currently led by the sixth generation, with Bertrand and Lionel Van der Haegen at the helm, supported by strong international growth with production of more than 2.5 million liters in 2018  .

• Quality & recognition: awards on prestigious international stages such as the Brussels Beer Challenge and Asia Beer Challenge – in 2020 alone 12 medals, including double gold for Scotch Silly, Silly Saison and Enghien d’Hiver  .

• Sustainable innovation: alongside traditional top fermentation, an organic wheat beer line was also launched in 2004 (Silly Pils BIO), supported by modern R&D policy  .
