Brewery Kerkom

Brewery Kerkom is a brewers' farm near Sint-Truiden. The brewery was founded by Evarist Clerinx in 1878, around 1936 his son Paul took over the leadership, and in 1952 it was Jean Clerinx's turn. Jean was forced to close the brewery in 1968 like many others. But bitten by the brewing bug, Jean re-established the current brewery in 1988 after he had retired. From that moment, the blonde BINK was born.

Since 1999, Jean has literally and figuratively passed the baton to Marc, a beer lover and brewer through and through.

The brewery has meanwhile become the dream stopover for many hikers, cyclists, beer tasters, and bon vivants.
