Collection: The Musketeers

The Musketeers Brewery was founded in 1999 by 4 brewing engineers. Brewing beer was the hobby and passion of these four comrades. Their first brews were developed in Kristof's mother's kitchen.

The brewery's first beer was a blond beer that they called Musketier.
However, this name turned out to be already registered, which led to the search for a new name. Then Troubadour Blond saw the light in 1999.
The beer was appreciated by the beer lover and step by step the switch was made from hobby to business.

From their base in Ursel (Aalter), where Kristof lives and lost his heart, Brewery The Musketeers continued to build their story. Gradually, the Troubadour beers conquered the Belgian and foreign markets. Two years later, in 2001, the dark brother followed: Troubadour Obscura. In 2010, the brewers launched their third beer: the Belgian triple IPA Troubadour Magma.

'After winning the World Beer Cup with Troubadour Blond in 2010, Ursel suddenly became world famous.'
More than 20 years later, two of the founders - Stefaan Soetemans and Kristof De Roo - are still at the helm of this Belgian independent brewery, which has grown into a brewery that is respected and renowned for its new style of Belgian beers.

Due to the strong growth and the realization of their ultimate dream (brewing beers in their own professional brewery!), The Musketeers Brewery ended up in Sint-Gillis-Waas in 2019, their new home base and close to Stefaans "Heimat".
This way the circle is complete and the brewery continues to run at full speed!
