Collection: Kettubeer
KettuBeer is a quirky beer project with Belgian roots and a striking connection to Finland. What started as an idea to celebrate friendship by bringing Belgian recipes to Finland has since grown into a brand that continues to live and evolve in Belgium today. Behind KettuBeer is Martin Renard, and that name immediately reveals the origin of the brand: “Renard” means fox in French, while “kettu” is the Finnish word for fox.
What makes KettuBeer especially interesting is that the brewery doesn’t stick to just one style. They began with more Belgian-inspired beers but now experiment much more broadly, without letting go of their Belgian foundation. Finnish influences sometimes also appear, creating an original and recognizable story behind the glass. This combination of tradition, creativity, and an international touch makes KettuBeer a brewery that likes to follow its own path.
Today, KettuBeer’s beers are brewed by Martin at Cabardouche in Antwerp, firmly anchoring the brand once again in Belgium. A beautiful evolution for a project that originally started outside Belgium but still clearly stems from a love of Belgian beer culture.
