Carlito – the light-footed Session Pale Ale from Stroom Brouwers

”Carlito” is a sparkling session pale ale (also known as XPA) brewed by Stroom Brouwers in Ghent — a refreshing & accessible beer that invites you to take another sip. With an alcohol content of 4.3% ABV and a subtly bitter finish, it is perfect for long evenings full of conviviality  .

The beer is made from a mix of Belgian Cascade, Simcoe and a touch of Citra hops. Most of the hops are added in the whirlpool, which provides a complex bitterness, while a short dry-hop gives a fresh note of lemon zest and pine. The base of pilsner and wheat malt results in a clear and golden yellow beer that is light in character, yet has enough hop depth to awaken the thirst for another sip  .

In short: Carlito is a fresh, hoppy, and extremely drinkable beer — perfect for those looking for a session experience with a kick. Light in alcohol, but rich in flavor — and clearly brewed with love by Stroom Brouwers.
