Do You Want To See My Hop Fridge? – West Coast Farmhouse IPA from Dok Brewing Company
Do You Want To See My Hop Fridge? is a creative collaboration between Dok Brewing Company from Ghent and the renowned Danish brewery To Øl, resulting in a surprising West Coast Farmhouse IPA (5.5% ABV).
This unique IPA combines the classic bitterness of a West Coast IPA with the rustic, slightly sour character of a farmhouse ale. By using 25% raw grains such as spelt and oats, the beer gains a soft, natural body, while spicy notes of yarrow and meadowsweet add an Amaro-like bitterness and spicy complexity.
For the hop character, a selection of Riwaka, Comet, Chinook, and Columbus was chosen, contributing to resinous, pine, and citrus aromas that remain both fresh and bitter.
