Strong, sweet, and with a noble touch. The villain you want to meet.

The name Villain refers to one of the most famous noble families from the Land of Waas — the Vilain XIIII, a lineage with deep roots in the area around Beveren. A deliberate nod from Papitou: this beer carries a great name and more than lives up to it. Because the Villain is no ordinary beer — it’s the tough, powerful alter ego of the familiar Papitou recipe.

Just a few days out of the warm room after bottle refermentation, you can taste both the youthfulness and the enormous potential of this beer. The Beveren acacia honey — also the secret weapon of the original — plays a leading role here as well, but in a much more powerful context. The result is rich, complex, and surprisingly smooth for a beer of this caliber: "smooth taste, you wouldn’t guess it’s 12 degrees," was the comment from the first tasters.

This is a beer to keep, cherish, and share on a special occasion. Not an everyday thirst quencher, but a beer that demands attention — and rewards it generously.

Serve at room temperature in a wine glass and pair with aged cheese, foie gras, or dark pure chocolate.
